Joe Henson
A native of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Joe attended the University of Arkansas, where he majored in Accounting. Following a 26-year management career at IBM, Joe became President and CEO of Prime Computer, serving from 1981 to 1988.
After retiring from Prime Computer, he later joined the Legent Corporation as Chairman and CEO before entering venture capital.
Joe has served on nine public company boards and been active in education, serving as a Regent of Higher Education for the State of Massachusetts, a Board Member of the Trustees at Howard University, a Board Member of the Corporation for Babson College, a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee for Higher Education for the State of Arkansas. He was a Member of the Massachusetts High Tech Council and the Massachusetts Business Round Table.
Mary Kay Henson
A native of Rocky River, Ohio, Mary Kay graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, after spending her junior year abroad at the London School of Economics. Mary Kay received her M.B.A. in International Business from Georgia State University. She also has an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from The New York School of Interior Design.
Mary Kay worked for IBM as a computer programmer, salesperson, product manager, and marketing executive. She has served as a volunteer on the Ladies Committee at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she also chaired “Art in Bloom”, a major fundraising effort. While living in Washington, D.C., she was a docent at the Hillwood Museum.
